The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting Java applications and will..

Have knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Possess the ability to understand existing (and undocumented) designs, solutions, and applications, and apply that knowledge towards designing and implementing technical solutions

Have excellent understanding of application servers, multi-tier architectures ( presentation to persistence )

Identify, analyze, and document business/technical requirements and systems specifications.



Required Skills:

Possess minimum of 4-5 years professional experience in software development

Have solid Java coding skills, including server-side Java/JEE programming and Hibernate

Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility

Experience with REST web services Strong foundation in interaction design principles and the ability to translate user stories into interfaces that facilitate them

Familiarity with understanding stored procedures and ad hoc SQL queries



Nice to Have

Experience on WebSphere application server

Experience developing scalable front-end user interfaces using HTML/HTML5
