Description

1.) Sr. UI Engineering experience with proficiency in Angular Version 2+ (Currently on Angular 7), HTML, CSS, JQuery, Foundations or equivalent (Bootstrap). Will also be leveraged to help and educate other teammates on Angular v7.


2.) Experience building and consuming REST APIs with a working knowledge of back-end development and data structure knowledge.


3.) Experience working in AGILE environments and deploying code to the cloud

Responsibilities

• Texas Mutual Insurance's (TXM) E-Business Group is seeking to hire a talented Sr. Software Engineer with high level proficiency building Single Page Web Applications using the latest and greatest tech. The worthy candidate that gets hired by TXM will be part of a major initiative to rewrite and re-factor a collection of existing applications into the latest versions of all the tech that makes them. The software applications that will be upgraded are all part of TXM's consumer apps.
• Some of these include: Auditing, Safety, Policyholder gateway, and a few more. All said this group at TXM has 5 teams that manage 33 consumer web and mobile applications. These groups are largely made up of software engineers skilled in server side tech so they're looking for an engineer that is much stronger in UI Engineering and Angular with some working knowledge of server side systems.
• The estimated breakdown of Front End to Back End is 80/20. Some of the Tools and Tech that this person will be using are: Angular7, HTML5, CSS, Foundations, JQuery, Java, Springboot, Docker & Kubernetes.
