Customer Relationship Management System Specialist Position Summary The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System Specialist is responsible for implementing and functionally overseeing the CRM tool. While the staff will use the CRM the CRM System Specialist is responsible for day-to-day administration application layout and configuration working with Information Technology (IT) department and Salesforce support reviewing and encouraging enhancement and change requests and shepherding change management. The CRM System Specialist must provide the highest level of quality work in a timely and responsive manner to staff and members. The successful candidate will have exceptional operational skills and a strategic focus on how the CRM can enhance the overall member engagement experience. This is a functional and technical position working closely with different team members (Member Engagement Products and Services Watch Operations Technology Innovation etc.) to improve processes and leverage automation to improve efficiency and functionality. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform. This position reports to the Director of Engagement and Policy Coordination.
Description

This role is for a subset of NERC called E-ISAC: (here is a little more info on it) The Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) gathers and analyzes security data, shares appropriate data with stakeholders, coordinates incident management, and communicates mitigation strategies with stakeholders. The E-ISAC, in collaboration with the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council (ESCC), serves as the primary security communications channel for the electric industry and enhances industry's ability to prepare for and respond to cyber and physical threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Responsibilities
  • The CRM System Specialist will:
  • • Implement Salesforce features required for the to deliver quality CRM services to members
  • Establish, maintain, and improve processes within the CRM to bring value
  • Leverage knowledge of Salesforce capabilities to plan and manage the CRM roadmap
  • • Match ongoing business needs with Salesforce capabilities
  • Lead Salesforce enhancement projects
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Build and manage best-in-class CRM management reporting
  • Work closely with the Engagement and Policy Coordination group and the Watch
  • Operations team to ensure data is updated consistently and accurately
  • • Help increase Salesforce adoption and usage across the org
  • Help train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Participate in architecture discussions; propose and discuss solutions to system and
  • product changes
  • Research, implement, and manage third party implementations that extend the value of
  • the platform
  • • Complete regular internal system audits and checks to ensure updated system documentation
  • • Obtain and maintain the appropriate Salesforce certifications

  • Qualifications
  • • At least three years of experience in Salesforce administration and development, including:
  • o Extending existing Salesforce objects with custom attributes
  • o Creating custom objects and object relationships
  • o Using APEX to develop custom rules and workflow
  • o Implementing Salesforce APIs for integration with proprietary applications
  • • At least three years of experience implementing Salesforce AppExchange services and applications or integration with common third party applications such as CVENT, Outlook, WebEx, ReadyTalk, GetFeedback, Content Management Systems, data warehouses and data lakes, etc.
  • • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • • Passion for the Salesforce platform and a 'can-do' collaborative attitude
  • • At least two Salesforce certification(s) preferred from the following role groups: Salesforce Developer (Platform); Salesforce Architect; Salesforce Administrator
