This is an excellent, long term opportunity to assist in standing up a new outsourced engagement for our company. The selected resource will be a working developer and acting as a team lead for a scrum team consisting of 4 developers and 2 QA consultants. The overall scope for this initiative involves any and all enhancements, upgrading existing sites using Sitecore 8 and assisting in future upgrades to Sitecore 9.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, experience and certifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Sitecore developer, development lead or architect
- 7+ years of development experience using C#, ASP.NET and MVC
- Experience leading a development team following Scrum methodologies
- Web Content Management System experience
- Experience leading large-scale Sitecore upgrades
- Familiar with best-practices Sitecore implementation methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
