Description

Operates company's internal data communications systems. Plans, designs, and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP). Supports/troubleshoots highly complex network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches. Incorporates a detailed understanding of internal and industry solutions to analyse business requirements and
functional specifications at broad organizational levels. Assists in planning technical infrastructure and strategy. Meets with stakeholders
to determine network requirements. Performs gap analysis and documents findings. Provides technical leadership & direction in project planning, cost analysis & vendor comparison. Design & provides technical assistance for complex activities. Mentors’ others and fosters collaboration and innovation.

Educational Requirements

• Have a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• Have 10+ years of experience in deploying network and security solutions, system engineering or network consulting.
• Have a strong background in automation/scripting to deploy network standards
• Worked with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Be well versed in the latest industry best practices around network and security technologies.
• Have great verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
