We are looking for a Cloud Engineer experienced with AZURE and ODS creation to help take our efforts to build real-time, data streaming capabilities to the next level. This full-stack engineer would work on a scrum delivery team, collaborating with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver business value on an iterative basis.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large scale organizations in the cloud. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of big data technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering an Enterprise Digital Data Platform for Alaska Airlines.
Key Duties
· Design, build, implement solutions to capture and store event driven data
· Integrate with other components of the data ingestion pipeline to ensure the data is cataloged and search indexes are well maintained and always up to date.
· Implement additional project components (API interfaces) for accessibility
· Evaluate the performance and applicability of multiple tools, real time data strategies against customer requirements
· Implement secure cloud data solutions which align to privacy and security controls
· Engineer large sets of structured and unstructured data; cleansing, joining, fuzzy matching as needed
· Provide appropriate recommendations to overcome road-blocks.
· Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, and ensuring follow through with excellent verbal and written communication.
· Deep technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Database architecture, Big Data, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, No-SQL Databases, Advanced Analytics, Data Mining, ETL
· Delivering and presenting demonstrations of key technology components to project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
