Application Developer

Description

• Design, implement, test, and document business object models, application services.
• Create relational data models in Oracle (DDL) and general data maintenance/analysis tasks
• Participate in big-data and search related development involving Hadoop, Pig, Sqoop, and Elasticsearch
• Expertise with Java, Spring Framework (IOC, AOP, Spring Transactions, JDBC Templates)
• Experience working with Message Queues and JMS
• Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and creating shell scripts
• Expertise with SQL and experience working with Oracle
• Good understanding of enterprise architectural patterns including J2EE design patterns
Supply chain and domain experience preferred

Responsibilities

• • Fixing defects, working on enhancements to existing systems, some specific projects associate with the Supplier Communication Product Team\SOM
• • Act as member of and support the Supplier Communication Product Team and potentially support NARS and CPCS projects as they are develop
• Knowledge, skills, abilities, traits, certifications, years of experience, to successfully perform job function
• • 5 to 10 years Honda experience is desired in the area of supplier communication and supply chain overall, design and development of JMS, ESB and Web services interface to multiple systems, experienced with Back-end Frameworks like: Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate, JPA, EJB, Entity, JMS, DevOps technologies like GIT, JIRA, Gradle, Jenkins, Ansible, J Meter, Junit, Maven, and Docker.
• • Capability and knowledge with application servers like IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, OC4J, and Tomcat.

Educational Requirements

• • B.S. Computer Science or Bachelors Degree in a related field.
• • Experience using Spring MVC
• • Experience using an Open Source Rules Engine such as Drools or Jess
• • Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, JSON, HTML, AJAX, JSP, CSS
