Skills
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience. •Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred. •Advanced ability to oversee and manage large complex diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole •Advanced understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets •Advanced ability in implementing program and project plans monitoring progress resource usage and quality •Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified •Advanced understanding of multiple project management disciplines •Experience with Honda JFlow governance process use to run hybrid agile project life-cycle of design build test rollout and warranty •Developing presentations and presenting to executive audience •Financial services or captive finance experience with knowledge of payment and account management functions •Strong written / verbal and business / technical communication and documentation skills •Detailed analytical abilities for budgeting •Experienced Scrum Master (senior project manager) •Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) for agile delivery •Experience driving highly complex projects to successful implemenation •Leadership skills to capture and prioritize competing initiatives ensuring achievement of dates and deliverablesDescription
•Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
•Responsible for financial management, resource planning & management, schedule management, risk/issue management and successful implementation for projects
•Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
•Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources
•Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
•Manages one or more cross‐functional projects of high complexity
•Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large‐sized, moderately to highly complex projects
•Serve as a liaison between Business, ISD and Vendors, engaging stakeholders and coordinating feedback.
Key Activities
•Overall Project tracking and management
•Management of Honda’s J Flow process
•Identify, manage and escalate project issues and risks and responsible for issue resolution
•Budget tracking and analysis
•Obtain vendor bids, contracting, onboarding and transition management
•Manage participation of all required resources
•Coordinate and participate in project status meetings. Generate status reports and communicate with project leadership
•Schedule and present at leadership checkpoints. Coordinate signoff on project deliverables and J Flow stage gates
•Facilitate decision making by pulling together inputs from leadership and stakeholders
