Role Summary

We seek a highly proficient Date base QA Tester to assess data aggregation processes and custom software quality through automated testing of complex databases. An ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test data and code to ensure quality during both QA and User Acceptance Testing of data aggregation and custom software back-end data tables. This role requires collaboration with Business Analysts and Developers to successfully implement automated Data Aggregation and On-Line analytic reporting of Patient Journey and Specialty Pharmacy KPIs. For success in this role, individuals will need to possess a combination of software data testing, data analytics, converting multifaceted business rules into code, and liaising across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Profound knowledge in writing SQL queries (insert, update, delete, select use various
• joins, count, sum, average, etc.)
• Experience in writing advanced SQL commands in SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Strong in Oracle with an understanding of building complex SQL scripts for data creation, validation and testing the transformation rules.
• Verifying the data integrity
• Verifying reports using self-written queries
• Experience in data integration testing using SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing (DWH)
• Experience in testing using two or more major RDBMS/Data analytics
• Experience in test data generation and importing/exporting/loading data.
• Experience with the Agile methodology, Regression, and Smoke testing
• Working knowledge of Jira
• Specialty Pharmacy Data knowledge is a plus
• Excellent written documentation skills
• Have a high level of organization and time-management abilities.
• Must have 3+ years of SB/ETL.DWH Testing experience
• Must have 2- 3 years of experience in an SQL server environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
