8 – 10 years of experience with IT Infrastructure Hardware Cloud Services and Support leadership in a complex environment supporting Business user needs in this space. Knowledge of Microsoft products and tools including M365 platform VMWare – VCenter/VDI NSX AWS/OCI/Azure Systems Architecture Ability to operate computer and peripheral equipment as needed; ability to plan and control projects; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers supervisors technology leaders and outside vendors in a manner which shows sensitivity tact and professionalism; ability to follow or give verbal and written instructions as applicable. Ability to work closely with Managed Service Provider to implement workloads in VMware and Cloud environments. Virtualization Cloud and Systems Engineering experience. AWS certified Solutions Architect Professional is preferred. Hands-on experience on implementing Cloud Solutions using various AWS Services including EC2 VPC S3 Glacier Lambda Directory Services Cloud Formation Elastic Beanstalk RDS DynamoDB Athena and Redshift IAM Roles and Policies Cloud Trail Cloud Watch Trusted Advisor Security Groups. Experience with Azure and OCI Cloud Services Strong experience and knowledge of Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy. Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems. Experienced in decision-making and problem-solving using sound judgment and logic to identify key facts explore alternatives and propose quality solutions. Knowledge of Exchange AD O365 AirWatch and other Identity Access Support industry standards and operating procedures. Ability to design & implement solutions in support of Identity Management and Messaging service delivery.

Description

Drive overall direction, aligned with strategy & development set by lead for Cloud services including development and maintenance of roadmaps; design, testing & implementation of new services; improvements to existing services; and definition & enforcement of standards. Serve as liaison to understand and communicate business user needs and trends.
Support Cloud and systems services resources to reach quality results and progressive achievements. Define and enhance team dynamics through positive leadership, clear vision and defined deliverables. Lead design, decision activity for the tower.
Manage technical architecture for Cloud services including understanding requirements, evaluation, testing and lifecycle management for hardware & software. Stay current with user technology and industry trends. Identify and address opportunities for improved user experience.
Manage and participate in projects related to Hardware compute and Cloud services including assessment and planning for user requirements & impact, high level design, prioritization and demand management including vendor resources for implementation and transition to operations. Coordinate with IT and other departments as needed.
Manage vendor relationships with external partners to ensure Identity and Collaboration services and project activities are delivered according to Sunovion standards. Provide operational oversight for partner delivery of AWS, VMWare, Azure, OCI and all other technologies in this tower. Define & provide escalation points for end user incidents & requests if vendor handling is not sufficient.
