Description

The Global IT Infrastructure and Operational Technology Manager role is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of B&Ws global server, network and security landscape. This is achieved by proper planning, designing, and supporting IT s Global Infrastructure and Operations at its primary and secondary data centers. The main focus of this Technical Leadership role is maintaining continuity and consistency globally of B&W s infrastructure and operations and the Managed Services Provider teams that support them.

Lead IT Infrastructure and Operations Projects, per PMO Methodology

Stay abreast on new technology trends that will drive our business forward

Develop and maintain short-term and long-term IT enterprise strategy in GlobalIT Infrastructure and Operations, focusing on B&W s Cloud First strategy

Collaborate with Applications teams on SaaS cloud solutions, migrating on-Prem systems to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.

Provide L3 support when MSPs are not available

Maintain contracts / licensing / budgets

Implement and support large, complex VMware/vSphere environments – hybrid Colocation, IaaS, and On Prem environment
