Skills
· Experience on PURE storage systems required (at least 3 years of experience) · Experience on NetApp Storage Systems Required (at least 3 years) · Ensures the availability reliability scalability and manageability of the data storage environment · Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements · Gathers requirements designs and implements solutions to meet customer’s need related to SAN/NAS storage needs · Provides Level 2/3 technical system expertise; Oversight and accountability for resolution of outages service level issues and user/customer support needs in coordination with Operations Support · Manage capacity and performance of the Storage infrastructure ensuring high availability of all systems · Proactively monitor test collect and analyze system performance statistical data to improve quality & ensure optimal performance of all Storage environments · Create and maintain documentation as it relates to infrastructure systems design configuration support and processes · Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and bottleneck issues within a complex application & systems infrastructure · Provide 24x7 on-call storage support for all storage platforms on a rotational basis · Provides multi-level technical support in defining developing and evaluating storage products to meet Cadence needs · Provides recommendations to improve the storage infrastructure and address/lead critical issues and analysis · Possesses in-depth knowledge of storage hardware and operating systems software · Assists with recovery procedures & follow proper escalation procedures · Participates in change control activities to ensure awareness of scheduled workDescription
We are really in need of someone with good NAS / UNIX / NFS admin and debugging skills. Someone who can fully administer a NetApp cluster and work with our UNIX team to troubleshoot NFS / autofs / connection issues.
A solid NAS storage administrator with UNIX skills. Experience in EDA environments would be a plus.
