Experience with webMethods development tools (Software AG webMethods version 10.3 product suite: Designer Trading Networks Universal Messaging Active Transfer server and My webMethods) Experience with relational databases including an understanding of Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts Experience in webMethods Application Development including web service development publish/subscribe model in Universal Messaging EDI XML and Flat File translation Error and Exception Handling Excellent interpersonal leadership and relationship skillsDescription
Perform webMethods solution development activities including requirements gathering, reviewing functional designs, and application design & development
Meet with subject matter experts in different areas of the business, can quickly learn the concepts.
Follow SAG webMethods methodology, which includes technical specifications, code reviews, unit & integration testing, and packaging of code
Clearly document and communicate technical designs, solutions, and issues
Contribute toward the continuous improvement of the webMethods integration team, and help to build the capabilities of the other developers
Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of IT and business stakeholders
Responsibilities
- 5-7 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years of webMethods experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a large organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
- Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities
Educational Requirements
- Experience with webMethods development tools (Software AG webMethods version 10.3 product suite: Designer, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Active Transfer server and My webMethods)
- Experience with relational databases, including an understanding of Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts
- Experience in webMethods Application Development, including web service development, publish/subscribe model in Universal Messaging, EDI, XML and Flat File translation, Error and Exception Handling
