Skills
• Expertise in vRealize Suite Enterprise and SaltStack Security • Certification in server platforms for Microsoft Linux and Solaris as well as VMware Virtualization is desired • Five (5) years previous systems engineering experience • Operational experience with industry standard security protocols and procedures is desired • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in server and storage infrastructure implementation and support • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in data center operations • Experience with VMware vSphere (version 6.5) • Working Knowledge of Server 2003 2008/R2 2012 2016 2019 • Include “operational experience with an enterprise backup solution • Experience with Dell & HP Server Technologies • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Microsoft Azure AD connect and Office 365. • Infrastructure support including: Windows Server vitalization SAN/storage platforms Active Directory (AD) and Shell scripting • Experience with Operational support (Tier 3) of: server (virtual & physical) storage backup and Active DirectoryDescription

Responsibilities
- 1. Implement vRealize Suite Enterprise and SaltStack Security
- 2. Deploy, support, and maintain server infrastructure systems for optimal performance and efficiency.
- 3. Plan and develop cloud-based enterprise solutions including Microsoft Azure / Office 365 (including SharePoint).
- 4. Investigate, troubleshoot, facilitate, and report incidents resulting in outage or system failure, including comprehensive root cause analysis and development of recommendations and next steps for optimal incident management.
- 5. Support technology planning and annual budget activities to ensure optimal health of enterprise investments, including participation in RFP process, vendor relationship management and assessment of acquired solutions.
- 6. Identify and document key policies, procedures, and governance for enterprise systems operations, including knowledge articles as needed.

- 8. Research, pilot, integrate, and implement new technologies as needed to support business needs and requests as well as pursuing new opportunities and innovation, as well as lead special projects as assigned.
- 9. Mentor and grow less experienced engineers, as well as prospective talent in more junior roles, throughout the organization as well as students in career pathways for information technology.
- 10. Perform systems performance assessments and security audits.
- 11. Support internal run and maintenance activities, including remote monitoring and management system, respond to alerts, monitor health, and seek improvement opportunities.
