· Design core components up and down the software stack developing primarily in GoLang or Java. · Build tools and infrastructure to enable product advancements and efficiency gains across both software and hardware. · Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa. · Conduct design and code reviews. · Evaluate analyze and optimize system resources related to image processing computer vision and machine learning. · Develop solutions for real-world problems and integrate solutions into products.

Description

Daily responsibilities include designing and developing containerized microservices-based software systems using GoLang, Java. The successful candidate has experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and testing large-scale software development and releases supporting multi-platform and hybrid-cloud environments. Effective communication and collaboration skills across projects and functional teams are essential and the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment is a must. We value a strong sense of ownership and work ethics.

Responsibilities

• · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering or equivalent experience
• · 4+ years of experience
• · Excellent communication and task management skills
• · Ability to work with teams spanning multiple locations and time zones
• · Collaborative development experience with industry-standard version control systems (e.g. Git) and IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ, Visual Studio)
• · Java or GoLang proficiency
• · Software development lifecycle experience
• · Development and deployment of containerized software using Docker/Kubernetes
• · Experience with Linux/Mac/Windows software development
• · Expert knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• · SaaS experience with highly available end-user applications deployed in a public or private cloud environment
• · Preferred Qualifications
• · CI/CD pipeline deployment experience using Jenkins/Cloud Build/AWS Code Deploy
• · IoT System and Software Security development experience
• · Experience with ML/AI deployments
• · Experience with large-scale data processing
• · Experience with developing, using, and maintaining distributed software platforms
• · Root-cause analysis and outage prevention techniques
• · Experience with HashiCorp Terraform and other DevOps tools
