3+ years of BI Development on the Oracle Cloud Fusion in a post implementation environment 3+ years of experience testing and validating BI Solutions on the Oracle Cloud Fusion platform 3+ years of experience and a deep understanding of the following technologies in the Oracle Cloud environment: BI Publisher (data model design oracle tables and view schemas inter and intra module technical data flows) Cross subject area OTBI reporting Understanding and experience with requirements gathering and testing techniques related to the Oracle Cloud BI platform. At least one year of experience with handling and usage of Physical view objects and Oracle BI Cloud connector for Oracle fusion for data warehousing. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts such as facts dimensions grain and SCDs. Ability and willingness to flexibly adapt to rapidly changing business requirements priorities and technical environments. Experience with standard application lifecycle management processes (e.g. change management transition to operations deployment etc.). Excellent organizational and communication skills including the ability to present clearly and effectively to non-technical staff including executive stakeholders. Excellent work management skills and ability to work within an organized backlog management framework. Ability to perform at the highest levels both independently and within a team setting. Description

GP Strategies is looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud BI Developer to assist with pulling Oracle data to be imported into a Microsoft BI Stack environment. They need help to analyze what data they need to pull out of Oracle, analyze the data in the PVO’s, and then figure out how the different PVO’s have similarities and how they can fit together. The business has seen what the current team can do with GL being moved from Oracle Cloud to Microsoft BI, so now more business units are putting in requests for functionality. They already have one on the Oracle BI team that has figured out this process, but he does not have the bandwidth for the workload, so they need help with the backlog of orders.



They are currently running on Oracle Fusion, Finance, HCM, P2P, and Projects Portfolio Management. This candidate will need to also have a strong background, functionally, gathering requirements, analysis of the data, and meeting with directors and above. Data Analysis cannot be stressed enough, this candidate needs to be able thoroughly look through the data to identify what it is the end users are asking for and have it moved into the MS BI Stack. This role will only focus on the Oracle side of the transition of data into MS BI.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS, SSAS Tabular, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Oracle Fusions module experience: HCM, Finance, Procure to Pay, and Projects Portfolio
• Experience developing and/or lifting BI Solutions to Azure, with knowledge of Data Bricks, ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
• Experience applying Agile software development practices to BI projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis best practices.
