Partner with Product Team to execute robust PI planning, prioritization, valuation and sequencing into an exciting roadmap of product increments
Collaborate with Product Managers to align teams with product vision, sprint goals etc.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retro and Sprint Review / Product Demo sessions
Examples:
Daily Scrum: Conduct daily Scrum meetings to synchronize work and identify blockers; work with the Product team and TPG peers to help resolve them, escalating as appropriate
Spring Planning: Coordinate and lead Sprint Planning to ensure the discussion is effective, that there is agreement to the sprint goal and that the appropriate product backlog items are included in the sprint backlog
Participate in the creation & ongoing maintenance of the product backlog as part of sprint planning and roadmap refinement
Creates a healthy development work environment, actively addresses team dynamics
Assist with internal and external communication by providing Agile metrics and reporting, improving transparency, and radiating information through burn up and burn down charts as well as other means
Responsibilities
- Educate employees at all levels, including senior, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work
- Provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies
- Provide hand-on support, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile, providing Product Team with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Scrum Master experience
- 7+ years of information technology experience
- Certified ScrumMaster certification
- SAFe Agile experience strongly preferred
- Competent Level Understanding of: Agile and waterfall methodologies, values, and procedures
- Technically complex projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Relevant business software (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, Jira etc.)
