Qualifications and Experience: Unix/Linux environment experience and Oracle Database (18C or 19G) Must have senior level experience with Oracle EBS- E-Business Suite SQL server preferred Education: Bachelor's degree required. Additional job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience required. Seven years of relevant experience in database development and/or administration highly preferred. Additional job-related education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.Description
Duties: The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting university-wide ERP application, file and database systems including the performance, integrity, and security of those systems. In this role they are involved in installing, upgrading, cloning, and patching of ERP applications. They will plan and develop database architecture, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installations, shell scripting, backup and recovery concepts, as well as the troubleshooting of any database performance or data integrity issues.
