Skills

5+ years’ experience in big data business intelligence data management or related technologies. BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred. Data-related advanced technical certifications and/or degrees preferred. Deep technical and domain knowledge related to big data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. Architectural and implementation expertise across the big data business intelligence and data management design principles. Experience with next generation architectural concepts including visualization advanced analytics cloud analytics big data artificial intelligence and/or machine learning. Experience with a variety of business intelligence and analytical software package (e.g. Tableau Power BI etc.). Experience exposure and knowledge of primary cloud provider offerings and architectures (AWS Azure GCP). Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) data governance and data quality business processes solutions and methodologies. Strong experience with data ingestion/processing languages like Python and SQL. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Description

Data pipeline implementation: This role will be responsible for implementing data ingestion and processing pipelines.
Design: This role will be responsible for creating architecture, design documents for data platform implementations, and data capabilities needed for cross-functional projects.
Proof of concept: As an individual contributor, the candidate will be responsible for showcasing quick wins through POCs.
Project delivery/delivery oversight: As appropriate, this role will be part of the delivery team for projects. This includes the willingness and capability to dive in and engineer solutions personally if needed.
Stakeholder engagement and collaboration: This role will interface with key stakeholders as part of normal responsibilities.
Functional/business stakeholders: To solicit requirements, understand needs, align technology solutions, and assist in the analytic/science enablement of each team’s respective broader strategy.
