Partnering and working very closely with our internal developers who have the institutional knowledge to help deliver and fully understand the new solution tech stack and patterns Working in groups for various agile ceremonies to provide constant transparency and direct partnership with internal IT peers and business partners Practicing systems analysis and design with a solid understanding of development quality assurance and integration methodologies Providing suggestions for strategic and tactical decisions to solve for scalable easily maintained and practical solutions given reasonable and aggressive timelines Adequately communicating with IT peers on requirements issues solutions and delivery for all aspects of the project Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services Independently solving complex problems and taking a new perspective using existing solutions

Description

Resources need to have 2 to 3 years development experience in Scala & Python language with Azure Synapse OR a solid 2 to 3 years of DataStage, scripting and SQL Server experience in Azure.
Talend, Power Bi and Open source
Communication – Resources need to be able to adequately communicate with IT peers on requirements, issues, solutions, and delivery for all aspects of the project.
Collaboration – Client works in agile methodology so looking for resources that can work in groups for the various agile ceremonies to provide constant transparency and direct partnership with internal IT Peers and business partners.
Thought Leadership – Resources will need to provide suggestions for strategic and potentially tactical decisions to solve for scalable, easily maintained, and practical solutions given reasonable and aggressive timelines.
Mentoring – Will need to ensure all work is consistently shared and fully transparent with internal resources to ensure appropriate transition for long term supportability.
Champions – Looking for resources that are experienced with our new tech stack and can help lead us by way of thought leadership and implementation into our target state.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of programming/systems analysis experience
• Must have 2 to 3 years development experience in Scala & Python language with Azure Synapse OR a solid 2 to 3 years of DataStage, scripting and SQL Server experience in Azure.
• Talend, Power Bi and Open source
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse Principles, ETL, BI/Reporting, and Data Security
• Experience with Data Governance by way of Quality, Lineage, Data dictionary, and Security
• Working with healthcare, disability, or claims information is helpful, but not required
• Proof of Covid Vaccination or weekly negative Covid testing is required
