Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar Hands on experience in Thingworx IoT platform (Application development Mashup creation Deploying Thingworx Server) Minimum of 3 years software engineering experience assessing project needs and writing code testing and documenting the results and system flow. 3 years’ experience in design development and roll out of a technology product or MIS System 3 plus years’ experience in coding with programming languages like : Javascript Java Python 2 years’ experience in database technologies IT development Business Intelligence (BI) tools 2 years’ experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools like logstash or informatica or fluentd Demonstrated Experience in implementing IOT Use cases. Knowledge of various web protocols like REST SOAP SFTP etc Application integration experience with CRM system like Salesforce and SAP is a plus

Description

Direct implementation of the ThingWorx Internet of Things (IoT) Platform including creating new functionalities and applications
Build and oversee systems for remote monitoring and predictive maintenance of Bell and Howell products deployed at customer locations across the United States and Canada
Work with technology providers, technical teams, project team, and key stakeholders to conduct business analysis, gather requirements, create and maintain dashboards, User Interface (UI) design, reports, and other data necessary for the Bell and Howell Network Operations Center (NOC)
Review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggest changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs
Translate business requirements into well written code and perform unit test, system test and integration testing as needed.
Extract and present data using various Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), Business Intelligence (BI), and visualization tools
Execute Bell and Howell’s digital transformation initiatives to streamline the flow of information between various Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Develop backend programs for processing data using the Python and JavaScript or Java programming languages
Create and maintain Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) clusters in development, quality assurance, and production environments
Develop tools to automate the monitoring of daily performance of ELK clusters
Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth running of the ThingWorx server

Responsibilities

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Prior ThingWorx experience
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence technology
• Working knowledge of industrial IoT platform and software development methodologies
• Project Management experience in the IT space
