DevOps Engineer

Skills

3+ years of prior experience as a DevOps/System Engineer Experience working with Release Management processes and software build/deployment tools (e.g. Maven NPM GitHub Actions Quickbuild Jenkins JBoss IIS etc.) Experience with container orchestration (Helm Kubernetes Docker Mesos etc.) Experience with scripting languages. Intimate knowledge of PowerShell Bash and Groovy are highly valued as well as a general knowledge of Batch and higher languages such as C# and Java Experience with integrating applications via API calls and troubleshooting integration points Experience with Source Control Managers and their technologies such as Git and GitHub Azure DevOps and TFVC along with an awareness of others like GitLab Bitbucket etc. Hands-on experience with creation and management of CI/CD pipelines at an enterprise scale using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions Experience with software development tools (e.g. Eclipse Visual Studio etc.) Experience with database queries scripts and tools (e.g. DB2 Oracle SQL Server etc.) Working knowledge of Windows IIS and Red Hat Linux JBoss server environments and software development Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers Detail-oriented problem solving and organizational skills Motivated creative hands-on and focused individual with ability to work independently and as part of a team
