* 3+ years of overall experience *Data modeling (database design normalization techniques semantic layer design) *Diverse solutions for data storage (relational and non relational databases data lakes data marts and data warehouses) *Strong experience with reporting – Tableau powerBI etc. *Microsoft SQL Server (both at the administration and coding level) SSIS MS Visual Studio *Automation & orchestration (DevOps CI/CD containers images) *Code versioning (git or similar) *A four-year degree or higher in Computer Science MIS or a related field or equivalent experience Exposure to some of these technologies: *Microsoft PowerBI SAP Business Objects *Python Java SQL R Groovy Linux shell *Jenkins github actions kubeflow or similar *docker Kubernetes

Description

*Work with business analysts, project managers, application developers, quality assurance engineers, and infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions for data ingestion, storage and reporting, with an emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency
*Design, Build, Maintain and Improve data solutions spanning from ingestion to reporting [85%]
*Analyze business/technical requirements, data modeling, research and propose solutions
*Write code, unit tests, refactor and provide feedback to the other developers
*Troubleshoot issues, maintain and improve current solutions
*Participate in all aspects of SDLC (scrum, assessment, plan, design, development, test, and support.)

Current Projects
*Migrating out of data center to Azure – 2 to 3 year long projects. Gradual transition while concurrently rethinking data infrastructures
*Internal projects – pushing data to vendors; how to refine current reporting capabilities, etc
