Description

Security Analyst position protects information assets by developing and deploying sustainable vulnerability management processes, analyzing external threat intelligence and making it available to the right teams at the right time, effectively collaborating across the organization, and making smart long-term decisions.

Development and continuous improvement of vulnerability and threat management program
Collaboration across in creation and operation of repeatable vulnerability management processes that enable “security by default”
Management and execution of vulnerability and threat management processes
Identification of opportunities to improve current processes through automation and workflow optimization
Collaborative implementation of automation and improved organizational workflows to achieve greater accuracy and reduce time to action
Analysis of threat intelligence sources, technical research, and escalation of relevant information to Security Operations, Legal, and other relevant Grainger teams
Creation and tracking of SLA workflows to assure accurate creation and escalation of SLA notifications
Assuring accurate reporting of key threat and vulnerability management metrics to leadership and other stakeholders
Creation and tracking of metrics and workflows for Application, Cloud, and IoT vulnerability management
Collaboration with partner teams in establishing scalable processes for vulnerability and asset prioritization based on available risk and threat data
Collaboration with partner engineering teams in identification and remediation of blind spots in vulnerability management process
Contribute to the systems hardening efforts at by providing effective security best practices recommendations
Develop and deliver security and threat management briefings to partner teams
