• Able to work onsite at the Marriott datacenter in Frederick MD when able to do so again • Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support • Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement • Update and create system documentation as necessary.Description
Required Experience:
• 5+ years performing all aspects of IMS systems programming work (installation, maintenance, configuration, testing and applications support), ideally including IMS v15
• 5+ years performing general z/OS systems programming.
Desired Experience:
• 5+ years performing all aspects of DB2 systems programming work (installation, maintenance, configuration, testing and applications support)
• Installation, maintenance, configuration and support of BMC’s Subzero product, used by IMS for communication across LPARs
• Installation, maintenance, configuration and support of a wide range of other BMC products, in particular the MainView and Database suite of products
• Hardware configuration
• Performance monitoring and tuning
• Assembler and REXX programing.
