Implements data policies standards procedures and guidelines concerning data collection access and management. Review and set technical direction including architecture for the overall EDW Data lake MDM & BI solutions. Guide review and approve the design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts to ensure standards and guidelines. Develop processes and procedures for acquiring data from disparate sources. Defines prototypes and directs Analytics and Data Quality teams to define dashboards for supporting data governance. Define data governance strategies alongside the Data Management Leader and develops roadmaps for MDM programs. Implement structured and non-structured data storage solutions Evaluate and implement best practices for EDW Data lake MDM & BI solutions. Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality to enable data solutions. Define and execute architecture to migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions Implement on premise and cloud based resources to meet any given need for data storage and transmissions. Research and stay abreast of industry leading technologies that improve business intelligence and create more effective data structures. Evaluate current ETL/ELT processes for proper fit of accomplishing business needs Working with the Enterprise data stewards defines component architecture reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture across the complete data lifecycle. Supports Data Mapping Phases with proper technical analysis. Supports the identification of objects and data elements to be managed describes hierarchies taxonomies or other relationships important to organizing or classifying objects.

Description

Hands-on experience with at least 10 years of the following: Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Migrating, Master Data Modelling, Data Quality Management, Information Governance Practical leadership in data integration tools (Talend, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS, or other). Practical leadership in master data management & associated tools (Profisee, IBM, Informatica, Talend, etc.) Must have a technical background and be able to lead data integration, data modeling, MDM workflow, etc through a firsthand understanding of the work A deep understanding of data lifecycle (data profiling, data quality, master data management, data warehouses/marts/staging/ODS) Good knowledge of SQL Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
