We are hiring an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer to join a growing team of Adobe Experience Cloud experts. We need someone who’s a hands-on project coordinator, a self-motivated team player, a techspeak translator, and a brainiac with a love for efficiency.
This role may be fully remote or involve a flexible hybrid work model that accommodates virtual and in-office collaboration. If you are local to our headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, you will be required to come in to the office twice a week. If you’re local to our Raleigh, North Carolina, office, you’ll be required to come in one day a week.
Responsibilities
- - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- - 4+ years of experience developing in AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service using HTML Template Language (HTL) and Apache Sling Java Models.
- - Extensive background in enterprise Java and OSGi development.
- - Experience with Git and code review processes.
- - Working knowledge of Apache Sling, Apache Felix, the Java Content Repository (JCR), and other AEM technologies.
- - Excellent communications skills (and we mean excellent).
- - Willingness to share thoughts, ask questions, and participate in meetings.
- - Ability to work in a services industry, often on multiple projects simultaneously.
- - Flexibility to work in multiple roles depending on the project.
- - Intellect, initiative, and reliability.
- - Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
- - Front-end development experience using JavaScript and HTML.
Educational Requirements
- - Continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- - Agile approaches, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- - Linux and Apache web servers.
- - Cloud hosting systems, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
