Description

We are seeking an experienced API Architect with expertise in Node.js to join our dynamic team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs that power our web and mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on the backend development and integration of APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality API solutions.

Responsibilities

• • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• • Proven experience working as an API Engineer, Backend Developer, or similar role, with a focus on Node.js.
• • 10 years of Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ES6+ features.
• • 10 years' Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.
• • 10 years' Experience with Javascript Unit Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai.
• • Proficient understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• • Solid knowledge of database systems, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform and serverless architecture is desirable.
• • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for building scalable and efficient software systems.
• • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
