• Lead design and implementation activities for user stories by partnering with product owners and software engineers • Collaborate and document functional/technical design specifications for software engineers including database layouts application modules and user interface mock-ups • Collaborate with other product owners and software engineers to get the technical design reviewed • Transforms software design into executable IBM i objects in accordance to Polaris standards • Write test scenarios perform unit testing system testing and document the results • Collaborate with other Systems Analysts/programmer analysts and developers to implement the project • Helps ensure SOX complianceDescription
The Sr. Software Engineer will work on projects related to the creation, modification and support of the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Warranty functions Enterprise Delivery Team. The Sr Software Engineer is responsible for analyzing the business requests and assisting with the technical design for the projects, code creation, unit testing, maintenance of the software program and providing production support. The Sr Software Engineer will need to effectively partner with product owners, system analysts, other application developers and end users. This individual must demonstrate passion for strengthening and enhancing business results through software development.

- • Troubleshoots production problems and work to fix issues
- • Understands technology and systems infrastructure
- • Work with product teams on technical requirements, development, and implementation plans
- • Value and embrace teamwork and collaboration and be accountable to product teams for the completion of work
- • Help to keep the standard up to date and include new technology and learning
- • Review peers finished code for adherence to standards
- • Review code for ease of understanding and maintainability
- • Review code and process with Project teams to assist in the understanding and flow.
