BCBSM is currently seeking an experienced Technology Consultant for our Enterprise Informatics Environment.
The qualified candidate will work independently within guidelines, be responsible for coordinating and working with 3rd party vendor to manage AWS platform, software upgrades, application deployments, patch installations, security request and incident management.
Candidate will work directly in our AWS environment providing support and guidance to all technical teams.
Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, analytical organizational, verbal and written communication skills and attention to details a must. Must be able to exhibit in relation to data integration and management.
Coordination of infrastructure and platform changes with 3rd party vendor and managing tickets and change requests via Cherwell.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a delivery or consulting role leading Information Management related initiatives is required
Responsibilities
- Experience in Web Administration.
- Knowledge of Kafka and Docker
- Knowledge of Apache and Apache Tomcat
- Knowledge of AWS RDS (Postgres and Redshift)
- Responsible for submitting and coordinating changes with vendor (AIP)
- Understanding of Information Security for data protection, governance and security preferred
- Knowledge and experience in AWS cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS
- Knowledge of DevOps, Jenkins and Cloudbees
- Experience in building and managing pipelines is a plus.
