• Design and implement data architectures on Azure that align with the organization's needs and objectives. • Select and configure Azure data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Blob Storage and Azure Cosmos DB. • Develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory Azure Logic Apps and other integration tools to ingest transform and load data from various sources. • Create and maintain data models for efficient querying and reporting using Azure Analysis Services or other relevant tools. • Implement and manage data security measures including encryption authentication and authorization ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. • Optimize data solutions for scalability and performance utilizing indexing caching and other performance-enhancing techniques. • Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the health and performance of data solutions making necessary optimizations as data usage patterns evolve. • Design and implement strategies for disaster recovery and high availability to minimize data loss and downtime. • Control and optimize costs associated with Azure data solutions by leveraging Azure cost management tools and best practices. • Create and maintain documentation for data architectures and best practices ensuring knowledge sharing within the organization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists analysts developers and business stakeholders to understand and address data requirements.

Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role will play a critical part in shaping our data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• • Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
• • Microsoft Azure certifications related to data services and architecture (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
• • Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
• • Experience with data warehousing and analytics tools, such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
• • Proficiency in data security and compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA.
• • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
• • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
