Maintaining, enhancing, and refactoring infrastructure operations code in Python to help automate tasks that ensure systems are properly up and running.
Supporting Hadoop clusters running on Cloudera by applying critical security patches, remediating vulnerabilities, and pro-actively planning to ensure clusters have sufficient storage.
Nifi administration and the ability to partner with developers and architects to ensure its capabilities are properly managed and exploited.
Responsibilities
- Domain knowledge in Big Data Operations
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development practices
- Exposure to Agile practices and tools
- Expertise with Linux operating system fundamentals such as kernel parameters, navigating directories, and troubleshooting code
- Nifi Administration
