Sierra Nevada Corporation (https://www.sncorp.com/) is a privately held aerospace, defense, and national security contractor specializing in aircraft modification and integration, space components and systems, and related technology products. The company contracts with such entities as the United States Armed Forces, NASA, and private space companies. SNC is headquartered in Sparks, Nevada and has 33 locations in 19 US States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey.



SNC has been involved in over 400 successful space missions. They built the cargo Dream Chaser vehicle, which will resupply the International Space Station with critical cargo during missions. SNC has also taken part in 14 separate missions to Mars.



This project is focused on Sierra Nevada?s space division. SNC has decided to divest this piece of the business into a new company called Sierra Space Corporation. Its mission will focus solely on the building, launching, and management of all vehicles and missions to space. MorganFranklin has been retained by SNC and SSC to management the divestiture of these two companies, including all aspects of information technology. Our goal in IT is to replicate and stand up Sierra Nevada?s corporate IT for Sierra Space.
