Hands-on experience with systems supporting trading cash management or portfolio accounting. Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements process flows and system specifications. Experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with integration tools APIs and financial data feeds (e.g. Bloomberg Reuters or similar platforms). Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience working in financial services corporate treasury or fintech environments.

Description

BNY is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Corporate Treasury Technology Services to support fixed income and money market operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather and document requirements, design system enhancements, and ensure seamless integration with existing platforms. This role involves system testing, operational support, regulatory compliance, and end-user training to enhance treasury technology services.

Responsibilities

• Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional & Technical Specifications.
• Create Process Flow Diagrams and System Design Documents to map business workflows.
• Draft Test Plans and Test Case Reports to ensure comprehensive system validation.
• System Enhancements & Testing:
• Identify, design, and implement system changes or enhancements.
• Conduct impact analysis to assess business implications of system modifications.
• Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
• Operational Support & Compliance:
• Provide Level 1/2 support for fixed income and money market systems.
• Generate weekly status reports on system issues, resolutions, and performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Recommend scalability and performance enhancements for treasury technology solutions.
