As a Sr. Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing new solutions that align with business goals. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders (both internal and external to the organization) to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of existing business systems and identifying areas for optimization.
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on information technology projects
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an agile project-based environment. Proficient with user stories and agile ceremonies, principles and frameworks
- Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and data mapping for system integration and API development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process modeling, system/non-functional requirements analysis, and vendor integration support.
- Understanding of various types of software architecture: client-server, web-based applications, web services, data schemas, SQL in order to support the delivery of user stories through solution suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to ensure project success
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Familiar with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
Educational Requirements
- Experience utilizing Jira
- Experience working with remote teams
- Industry experience specifically in Eligibility and Enrollment methods of practice / delivery models, business rules and process across benefit programs
- Experience delivering presentations to varied audiences
