9+ years of product management/business analysis experience in agile environments • Insurance knowledge with strong D2C and/or jewelry experience • Understanding of Product Governance and other relevant regulatory requirements • Strong leadership and team organization skills • Possess personal qualities of integrity humility credibility and a commitment to the overall corporate mission • Proven record of managing complex work involving various work streams with cross-functional teams • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping a focus on strategic outcomes; ability to 'put things into perspective' for team and stakeholders • Ability to establish trust-based relationships with senior leaders and thought partner with business teams • Mastery of wide range of product management and design thinking techniques and tools such as customer journey maps blueprints vision workshops roadmaps • Keen sense of empathy with the user and champion of user-centric design • Growth mindset always looking to improve self work of the team and adapt to the culture of the organization • Communication skills (written and verbal) that reflect structured clear and objective thinking • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences to enable business outcomes through technology • Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success in insurance business applications such as: Policy administration; Claim management; Customer billing; agency / customer portals; Reinsurance; Enterprise data warehouse; and Document management systems.

Description

• 9+ years of Business Analysis experience (needs to have some experience dealing with Product Ownership, but not a true Product Owner)
• Vendor management, vendor does technical piece of product
• Business Analysis (documentation, requirement gathering, leading projects, production support, product ownership, evaluating tasks, working through the analysis - e.g. break fixing, systems support changes and enhancements)
• Insurance background (Rate Plans, Underwriting) - how to engage with the customers
• Lead experience (not management but has led informally)
• Agile experience (they are very loosely Agile with work streams) - usually 2 weeks but can be a gray area due to vendor
• Working with other business teams
• Time Management - holding others accountable for delivery
• Strong UAT background
• CBAP / Product Owner

• • You'll be part of a highly visible product aimed at advancing our technology in support of BAP's direct to consumer strategy.
• • This role would report to the Lavalier VP, and, under initial proposals, the responsibilities would include:
• • Lead discussions and requirements elicitation sessions with business and technology partners to define, validate and understand detailed requirements, priorities, impacts, objectives, and other insights
• • Act as consultative team member with peers, business partners and vendors in planning, organizing, preparing and executing on initiatives
• • Define and document business and technical requirements, scope and deliverables based on industry and business partner needs
• • Create and refine the backlog, document stories and solutions broken-down in releases and sprints using an Agile Project Methodology
• • Obtain and provide subject matter expertise knowledge of technology and business functionality
• • Solve complex problems considering business and system requirements
• • Build a detailed understanding of the business to identify needs and address critical business issues.
• • Play a role in clarifying, updating, and improving the business processes impacted by technology systems, applications, and changes.
