• Working with clients to analyze design and develop new business processes to meet the business objectives. • Facilitating workshops with diverse clients to reach agreement on requirements. • Translating and documenting business processes and requirements into use cases activity diagrams and other models. • Working with Project Managers in an Agile/Scrum context to ensure smooth and timely completion of requirements. • Providing input on scope and approach in project plans based on an understanding of the clients’ requirements and priorities. • Working with internal IS&T teams to deliver functional specifications. • Acting as client advocate during project life cycle to ensure business requirements and processes are understood and addressed during design development SIT and UAT. • Conducting quality assurance activities for the graduate addmissions upgrade project-- coordinating efforts with schools and colleges conducting hands on testing of the graduate application product as well as verifying results in the student information system and matching testing activity to project requirements.
Description

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for activities related to the Salesforce Digital Alumni Engagement Implementation project in Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). The person in this position will participate in tasks related to DAR project workstreams to ensure successful delivery, and will be part of the project team working with the Salesforce Direct Consulting (SFDC) team. The Business Analyst is responsible for discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business processes and requirements for the DAR project. The BA facilitates requirements gathering and business process re-engineering with project participant groups. The BA will also be involved in on the quality assurance efforts for the project, matching test plan creation with documented requirements and coordinating testing activity to project requirements. The BA is an integral part of project teams and responsible for understanding and representing the client’s requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The BA will need to comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum project approach in order to ensure the project delivery, consistent with program priorities, agreed upon scope, timeframe, and budget.

  • • B.A. /B.S. Required.
  • • 3+ years of related experience.
