Business Analyst NetApp Migration

Description

This project requires attention to detail and understanding of where current data resides and the future storage location. Mapping of folders and files between current and future location is essential and constant communication is key.

Responsibilities

• Follow the project plan to analyze each network location share, with the project team, individually and with stakeholders
• Able to work independently to troubleshoot file errors after migration and provide possible solutions
• Create requirements document for department shares with files that have macros
• Document changes to be made
• Create requirements document for department shares which contains files that have Power BI report
• Provide possible solutions to update the paths to point to new locations with timeline to achieve.
• Document the new path for each Power BI report
• Ability and knowledge to respond to stakeholders questions regarding on premises file storage and cloud storage
• Document all issues and ensure resolution
• Schedule follow up sessions after each migration to validate the changes made in above steps and get signoff
• Escalate issue according to the escalation plan
• Provide constant updates of work performed to the project team
• Attend all meetings as needed
