Create intuitive and informative dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to visualize data making it accessible and actionable for non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources and systems. Implement data validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports presenting insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to support P&C insurance business strategies pricing underwriting and claims management. Are you passionate about data analysis and keenly interested in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry? We are seeking a talented data analyst with expertise in data modelling, Tableau, or Power BI, as well as a strong background in data analysis, to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in transforming data into actionable insights, assisting our P&C business unit in making data-driven decisions and enhancing our overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in data modelling, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Knowledge of the Property and Casualty insurance industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and data privacy regulations.
