1. SAP Business Objects
2. Migration experience - on-prem to cloud; they have a whole Google team that can be a resource as necessary
3. Trouble shooting/consulting experience and deadline driven
Responsibilities
- SAP Business Objects
- Migration from On-prem to cloud
- Trouble shooting; almost to the point of a forensic review of the initial lift and shift to determine where the error occurred and then go back to fix it.
- Deadline driven - March 30 target date; might be able to get one more week if needed.
- Must determine what was missed in the initial migration. If necessary they would do a re-migration
- True Value is on an old version of Business Objects. This install is running on a couple of on-prem servers, and they are leaving the data center where these servers sit. Last year, TV tried to migrate these boxes to GCP (Google Cloud) but were unsuccessful because somewhere in the install it must be referencing IP addresses and not the machine name. TV needs a resource to help do this migration and they have a very short time line as they are looking to shut down all machines in said data center by the end of March. If necessary, they might have an extra week if needed.
