Citrix Administrator

Description

Design and Implementation: Design, build, implement, and support
Citrix hosting infrastructure on Nutanix Hypervisor environment.
Client Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for Citrix clients
to ensure seamless user experience for Citrix virtual desktops and
hosted applications.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and capacity,
fine-tuning configurations to ensure optimal performance and
reliability.
User Management: Manage user accounts, security settings, and access
controls to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the Citrix
environment, including configurations, processes, and procedures to
ensure consistency and compliance.
Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to
junior administrators and end-users, fostering a collaborative and
knowledgeable team environment.

Responsibilities

• Citrix Expertise: Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and
• Desktops (CVAD), including deployment and management.
• Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT networks and hardware
• components, with experience in setting up and administering IT
• networks.
• Nutanix Experience: Hands-on experience supporting Citrix
• infrastructure hosted from Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV).
• Network Management: Detailed knowledge of network management software
• and techniques, including Active Directory, domain and group policies,
• and virtualization technologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of networking, Active
• Directory, and Windows Server environments, ensuring robust and secure
• infrastructure management.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with a
• preference for 8 years.
• Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information
• Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Citrix and
• networking are preferred.
