The Jefferies Database team is currently looking for a Database Engineer with experience doing DevOps to join our offshore team

Self-motivated, conscientious dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team • Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work. Must be willing to participate in follow the sun support The candidate must be willing to provide weekend support, The support is rotated among DBAs in US, London. and India

Responsibilities

• 2-3 years of experience with AVYS Databases • Experience in migrating data from on-prem to RDS and 53 Exceptional knowledge of AYYS Console, AVS CLI S3, DMS ◦ RDS: Postgres, MYSOL, Aurora Postgres and MYSOL Cloud Watch g • Good knowiedge of ◦ AWS SDK e RedShift ◦ Snowflake O Redis ○ High Availability and disaster recovery ◦
• MSKIStreaming/Messaging Architectures AWS IAM and integration with AW'S Identity Center ○ Service Resiliency - HADR designs/solutions tied to business tiering - replication across AZs and Regions e ETL Tools/MWAA AirfiowlAWS Glue EKS/ECR • Knowledge of ◦ Non-relational AWS databases: DynamoDB, Document DB, Neptune, OpenSearch ◦ Load balancing • Nice to have Experience in migrating data from on-prem into Snowflake, RedShift
