Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required. Other degrees in combination with relevant experience may be considered. · Secondary degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. · 8+ years’ experience in a cloud-based engineering environment. · Solid technical background in a hosted/virtualized services environment including infrastructure networks hardware software and telecommunications. · Experience with core infrastructure engineering services – compute network storage database etc. · Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure service – Ex. Active Directory DNS DFS · Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code · Knowledge of security and patch management as it relates to both public and private cloud-based infrastructure. · Experience using automated monitoring tools. · Ability to identify incident trends to elevate incidents in accordance with standard protocols. · Proven ability to work in a cloud based or hosting environment. · Experience with Office365 and Windows Intune. · Proven track record with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that are scalable reliable and secure. · Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements · Ability to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills. · Strong attention to detail testing and documentation. · Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices. · Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors. · Strong oral and written communication skills. · AWS and Azure certifications are a plus.Description
The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading the creation of a technology framework and providing technical leadership in support of ACCO’s initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on the data, integrations, systems, and services that run on cloud platforms. The Sr. Cloud Engineer would work closely with various teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable. The Sr. Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's cloud infrastructure and services. They ensure that the organization is taking advantage of the latest cloud technologies and best practices to achieve its business objectives.
