- Bachelor’s degree in communications public relations or applicable field of study Plus 5+ years of experience – particularly in technical communication training exp communication leadership. - High proficiency with Microsoft office suite. Particularly PowerPoint Excel building charts graphs and tables. - Previous experience working with IT teams – must be able to understand/translate technical jargon to non-technical stakeholders - 4+ years exp developing training materials or conducting training - Ability to present to large groups 20 + including upper managementDescription
The Communications Specialist is responsible for timely, creative and accurate creation and dissemination of information, and content for various levels of audience within the organization.
Responsibilities
- - Experience with Microsoft Visio, Yammer, Office 365 tools
- - Background with basic coding or familiarity with software development processes
- - Leadership responsibilities in past roles
Educational Requirements
- - Will help IT Managers and Project Managers with improving communications as we work on IT delivery
- - Will be communicating with internal stakeholders up to VP level
