• Understands Central Hudson’s Cybersecurity roadmap develops plans to deliver on the roadmap. • Ability to understand technical constraints dependencies and frameworks to ensure the delivery of a high-quality solution. • Partner with technical leads and vendors to ensure the translation of requirements into comprehensive test plans and technical solutions (Requirements Traceability). • Demonstrate technical acumen to ensure project team executes high-quality design testing and cutover activities.

Description

• Complies with Central Hudson’s Project management standards of practice for Waterfall and Agile frameworks to achieve predictable performance and delivery excellence.

• Consistently provides effective status reporting that contains the appropriate level of actionable detail for Executive, Sponsor-level, and project team recipients.

• Creates and maintains accurate project budgets and actively manages costs throughout project lifecycle.

• Executes proper change control processes to provide transparency and effectively manage scope, schedule, and cost.

• Proficiently leverages Project Management tools, such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PPM and budgeting software to ensure high-quality project deliveries.

• Adheres to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to change management, incident reporting, time accounting, expense reporting, purchase requisition processes, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• • Strong experience in project managing and delivery of Cyber Security projects.
• • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or other related field
• • Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, SLDC, or Agile certification
• • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
• • 7+ years of experience managing projects within a matrixed or co-sourced environment
• • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
• • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
• • Strong relationship building / interpersonal skills and experience providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
• • Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
