Looking for a mid-level (2+ years+) Data Analyst that will be working with the Data Scientist, the Valuation team and customer to provide data that will be used to provide valuation and other services. Must have SQL, Python, and familiarity with the Programming Language R
Wil be building models in Python, Pulling Data from SQL read and write data, need R for the legacy programs which will be moving from R to Python)

Black Book’s Data Science team works to solve our customer’s most pressing challenges by enabling them to harness the power of data for insightful decisions. The position represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a high growth team, driving innovation, and assisting in developing next generation data solutions in the automotive industry.

In this hands-on position, the Data Analyst will work very closely with the automotive analytics team to maintain, enhance, and develop analytic solutions which are focused on specific auto industry questions for Black Book customers. The candidate must be passionate about data and finding insights from it.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in applied statistics, mathematics, data science or related area of study
• Experience using Python for machine learning and large-scale data analysis
• Hands on use of machine learning methodologies such as regression, decision trees, time series analysis, NLP
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
