Description
5+ years in a Data Analyst role
Advanced SQL skills; extensive experience writing complex PL-SQL queries, stored procedures, troubleshooting, query performance tuning, etc.
Experience working in OLTP-heavy environment, with experience in OLAP data projects as well (Data Warehouse and Big Data databases)
Experience in an Oracle database-heavy environment (80/20% Oracle vs. SQL Server)
Strong data analysis skills--will be primarily creating data lineage/source-to-target mapping documentation and performing data analysis to ensure data quality, preparing data for reporting, etc.
Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of Data Movement and Processing, including ETL, API, OLTP, OLAP and best practices for data tracking
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Source-to-target mapping experience (for assisting ETL team)
They will be getting into MDM and Data Governance eventually, so any experience in that area would be ideal.
