SQL Tableau PowerBI or Essbase (data mining skills) UAT /QA testing using scripts organizing meeting notes maintaining project lists.
Description

You will be working with various datasets within the General Ledger Operations team to support the bank’s efforts in improving and modifying its GL system.
You will utilize your advanced excel skills, to manipulate and parse through data and assist with doing various reconciliations and creating/approving journal entries
You will have a basic understanding of basic accounting concepts with knowledge of balance sheets, income statements and account analysis.

Responsibilities
  • 3-5 years of data analyst experience at a bank or financial institution
  • Must possess advanced Excel capabilities as things like VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables will be imperative to being successful in this position.
  • Hands on experience doing reconciliations and creating/approving journal entries.
  • Basic understanding of Account Analysis, balance sheet and income statements.
  • Must have strong written and oral communications skills as you will be partnering with various internal stakeholders that are involved in GL Operations.
  • Must be willing to come on site in at least a hybrid capacity to work directly with the GL Operations Team
