Description

Responsible for day to today configuration and maintenance of data catalog platform. Qualified candidates will work closely with our client’s project teams to help with delivering catalog use cases which include design, configuration and deployment.

Validate lineage diagrams and modify/change as required.

Responsible for integrating with new data sources for metadata acquisition.

Develop customizations as required for use cases which may include API integrations, custom dashboards, and workflows.

Work with our client’s teams and vendor to resolve any/all technical issues in the platform.

Responsibilities

• • 5+ years’ experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship.
• • Deep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflows.
• • Hands-on experience with configuration and maintenance of catalog tools such as Alation , Collibra, Informatica.
• • Hands-on experience with programing languages SQL, HTML, Java, Python and others.
• • Hands-on experience with on-boarding metadata from various sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Azure cloud and others.
• • Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure google, AWS and snowflake.
• • Understanding of ETL technologies such as MuleSoft, ADF, Talend, SSIS.
• • Familiar with data quality practices and its integration with data catalog.
• • Comfortable working independently and with other teams/vendors to resolve issues.
• • Good communication and writing skills.
