· Design build and maintain scalable data platform to support the analytics engine accommodate growing data volumes and increasing complexity. · Design and implement data architecture strategies to consolidate data from various sources. · Design and implement real-time data streaming and processing solutions · Ensure high data quality and reliability through data validation testing and monitoring mechanisms. · Optimize and improve existing data systems for performance and scalability. · Implement data partitioning indexing and other optimization techniques to enhance query performance. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights · Mentor offshore engineer team and provide technical guidance. · Set up and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems for ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues to maintain high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• · Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience with a proven track record in in data engineering.
• · Proven experience in designing and building scalable data platforms.
• · Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• · Knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., AWS Glue, Redshift, …).
• · Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and their data services
• · Experience with Kafka or other streaming data technologies for building data pipelines.
• · Strong understanding of microservices architectural principles and patterns, and experience building and deploying data platform
• · Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• · Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Strong organizational and project management skills.
